The licences contained in the key will be accessible by the network user station through your local network, VPN or RDS.

This page allows you to perform the necessary checks to detect the network key. The following steps should be followed on the network user station , in order:

  1. Check the prerequisites
  2. Check the settings from LMTS
  3. Check the opening of the port 1947

1. Check the prerequisites

It is advisable here to check that the prerequisites are respected, with the help of the Check the prerequisites Single User Key or Network user station page

2. Check the settings from LMTS

a. From the home window of the software, open the Keys licenses  / Information window by clicking on the button at the bottom of the home window, then click on the Open Terrasol License Manager button

b. Go to the Diagnostics tab and click on the Run Diagnostics button

It is up to your IT department to resolve any cases that are marked in red.

Once the Diagnostic tab validates all the necessary prerequisites, the key should be accessible. You can check this from the License Keys tab.

The name of your licence key should now be displayed at the bottom of the Terrasol welcome window.

3. Check the opening of the port 1947

Port 1947 allows communication between the network user station and the server computer.

From the network user station, open Powershell Windows and type the following command:
Test-NetConnection Your_server_name -p 1947
or
Test-NetConnection Server_Name -Port 1947

  • If the port is open you will get a response like :
    TcpTestSucceeded : True
  • If this port is not open, please contact your IT department to open it bidirectionally, using TCP+UDP.

Once port 1947 is open and communication with your server is restored, please repeat the previous steps.
